That time of year is approaching and #MWC22 is going ahead back on their usual dates.
Mark the date: Feb 28th - Mar 3rd, the theme this year "Discover Connectivity Unleashed"
Whether attendance is digital or in person, I am sure many are excited to see more brands coming back this year, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, AT&T Business, Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, Rakuten, Samsung Electronics, and Verizon to name a few!
Mats Granryd, director of GSMA said during an interview with Justin Springham, from Mobile World Live:
“During the pandemic, the world depended on connectivity to survive and GSMA were the only organizers to have 3 in-live events in Shanghai, Barcelona and Los Angeles. It is critical for us to show responsible leadership and show the world that the industry comes together on a regular basis to discuss how best to continue to deliver services that are so life critical to each every one of us”
What a great message from Mats. Last year I supported and attended MWC21 in person with fellow thought leader Carlos Alberto Scolari to show that events can happen safely.
Technology continues to advance at a pace that is hard to keep up sometimes, and this year brings an opportunity during these “still” pandemic times, to come together again and have discussions that matter, make an impact, and help us have a better connected, more efficient and productive life.
Technology continues to be part of my survival and I am always looking forward to understanding what player is bringing what to the table! So bring it on #MWC22
As I always say, focusing on solutions to challenges is key to moving forward.
